Research peptides are a prohibited category at Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Square and SumUp. The rails below are the ones that clear for a Union RUO shop invoicing in euro.

Open banking / SEPA Instant

You pick your bank, approve a SEPA Instant credit to our Latvian IBAN, done in about seven seconds. Irrevocable — that is why it is 5 % less. If a PISP (TrueLayer, GoCardless, Yapily) underwrites RUO we host their screen; otherwise the same Instant goes out as an EPC QR and copy-paste IBAN.

SEPA transfer

Standard SEPA credit transfer, 1–3 working days. Same IBAN, same −5 %. We pack when the euro lands. Scan the EPC QR from the banking app if you prefer not to type.

Bitcoin / Lightning
BTCPay · Lightning instant / on-chain ~10 min · −5%
Self-hosted BTCPay. Lightning is instant; on-chain is about ten minutes. No KYC processor, no chargeback, −5 %. Quote locked 15 minutes.

Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay
Visa and Mastercard need a dedicated high-risk merchant account (MCC 5122 / 5912) — Nuvei, CCBill, UniqPay or 2Accept once the MID is contracted. Typical cost 3.5–5.5 % plus a rolling reserve. Apple Pay and Google Pay are the same MID, tokenised. 3-D Secure is mandatory. We do not run Stripe.
What we will not run
Stripe, PayPal, Shopify Payments, Square, SumUp — they prohibit this category and will freeze the account. Card-to-crypto on-ramps that print “USDC PURCHASE” on the statement (PeptidePay, NexaPay and similar) are network evasion. We will not disguise the MCC.
Restock is a pay-by-bank link, not a stored card
Each cycle we send a SEPA Instant link. Skip, pause or cancel anytime. Variable Recurring Payments (VRP) only when a PISP has contracted RUO. We will not keep a card on file to auto-bill a laboratory.
